Kristina Hyland is an associate at SimpsonWigle LAW LLP in the Hamilton Office. Her practice is focused in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estate Administration and Corporate and Commercial law.

Kristina articled with Simpson Wigle and returned as an associate upon her admittance to the Law Society of Upper Canada as a practicing lawyer. Kristina practices in the area of Wills, estate planning, family business succession and estate administration. Kristina has played an increasing role in the firm's will and estate administration group and has worked with senior partners and associates on drafting wills and power of attorneys, administering estates and advising attorneys, executors, trustees and beneficiaries.

Since her call to the bar, Kristina has played a significant role in a number of share and asset purchases, joint ventures, and financing transactions. Her corporate practice includes incorporating and organizing companies, preparing partnership and shareholder agreements, and the purchase, sale and financing of businesses.

Her resourcefulness, business sense and attention to detail have contributed greatly to the matters in which she has been involved. Throughout her formative years Kristina was exposed to the dynamics of her family's business, where she learned first hand how entrepreneurs stay competitive, deal with opportunities and issues and prosper.
