Gokcin is an associate at SimpsonWigle LAW LLP, and is engaged in a general corporate and commercial law practice. Her services include incorporating and organizing companies, preparing partnership and shareholder agreements, preparing and reviewing commercial leases and franchise agreements, the purchase, sale and financing of businesses and residential and commercial real estate. In the short time she has been at the firm, Gokcin has been involved in several mergers, acquisitions and amalgamations since her call to the Bar. Her resourcefulness, business savvy and attention to detail has contributed greatly to the deals and matters she has been involved in.

Community involvement is very important to Gokcin and she has been volunteering as a soccer coach at the Saltfleet Go-Ahead Soccer Club, a non-profit soccer organization situated in the City of Stoney Creek since 1996. In 2005, Gokcin became a fully certified senior coach under the National Coaching Certification Program and The Ontario Soccer Association.
