Ben Simpson is a founding partner of the firm, now a partner emeritus. He currently advises clients principally in the area of Estates, Wills and Trusts and Estate Planning.

Although the current focus of Ben's practice is the care, management and administration of Estates, Wills and Trusts and Estate Planning, he has, over the course of his career, counselled clients extensively in the area of corporate and commercial affairs. He has always been involved in the business implications of his advice and has a reputation of truly understanding all aspects of a client's organization and operation. The value of this experience continues to be of benefit to clients and, in keeping with the mentoring philosophy of the firm, is shared with the younger lawyers of SimpsonWigle LAW LLP.

Ben has provided support and advice to a wide-ranging base of clients from individuals to entrepreneurs to corporate executives. He continues to retain his association with clients and community projects with which he has been involved over his 57 plus years in legal practice.

Ben has been and remains actively involved in a variety of charities and associations through his charitable foundation connections in the Hamilton/Burlington area.
