Stephen is a lawyer at SimpsonWigle LAW LLP and practices out of the firm’s Burlington office. His main areas of practice include commercial litigation, estate litigation and bankruptcy and insolvency law.
Since his Call to the Bar, Stephen has worked with senior counsel at the firm on construction lien claims, shareholder disputes, guarantee actions, real estate matters and complex contractual issues. He has successfully argued various motions in Superior Court, including motions for summary judgment, and has appeared in Bankruptcy Court to secure the approval of proposals.
Prior to joining SimpsonWigle LAW LLP, Stephen clerked for the judges of the Superior Court of Justice. In so doing, he has gained insight into and an appreciation of the judicial reasoning process. Stephen builds the understanding gained from this invaluable exposure into his growing litigation practice.
