Maria Durdan is an Associate lawyer at SimpsonWigle LAW who is building a practice centered primarily in land development and condominium law.

Working directly with Timothy Bullock, Maria is involved in acting for developers in land assemblies, preparing applications and documentation for subdivision and condominium registration, land severances and site plan approvals.  Maria also works directly with Ron Danks to support over 650 of the firms residential and commercial condominium corporation clients throughout Ontario.  This practice will eventually evolve into advising boards of directors and property managers on all areas of condominium law and administration including:

• developing and declaration and by-law interpretation;
• dealing with matters arising from proposed changes to common elements, including preparation of indemnity agreements;
• assisting in preparation of declaration amendments, bylaw amendments and upgrades, enforcement of rules, bylaw infractions, and attending owners and board meetings to address issues;
• contracts,
• amalgamations;
• shared facilities agreements; common element alterations and Section 98 agreements;
• bank loans;
• rule enforcement;
• procedures for owner's and board meetings; and
• liens.
